Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the city manager, the Parks and Recreation Commission shall provide, conduct, and supervise public playgrounds, athletic fields, recreation centers, and other recreational facilities and activities on any property owned or controlled by the city. The commission shall consult, advise, and cooperate with other groups concerned with providing recreation in and for the city.
