The Battleground is a complete golfing facility specializing in tournaments and corporate outings. Offering a demanding championship layout, the Battleground is open year-round to the public, and also offers monthly and year-round memberships.

The Battleground Golf Course specializes in weddings and banquets! With their newly-renovated clubhouse, the site is perfect for a fairy tale wedding, family reunion, professional conference or corporate gathering.    

Many couples pick this venue for their wedding destination because of the historic Pratt Truss Bridge, which is the perfect background for your photos! Add beauty and local history to your special day.

As a reminder, with the exception of planned, on-site fishing events, fishing on the Battleground Golf Course is not permitted.

The Battleground Golf Course 25th Anniversary

The Battleground Golf Course hosted their 25th Anniversary on April 21, 2021. Guest speakers took their turn expressing how special the golf course is to the City of Deer Park’s history. Guest speakers included: Former Mayor Jimmy Burke, Former Mayor Wayne Riddle, City Council Member Sherry Garrison, and finally Mayor Jerry Mouton.
