    RECREATION HALL USE FEES: 

    $500.00 DAY (one day = 6 a.m. to 6 a.m.) 

    $500.00 SECURITY FEE (returnable) 

    $1,000.00 WEEKEND 

    $500.00 SECURITY FEE (returnable) 

    I HAVE READ AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE BELOW POLICY FOR THE USE OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT’S RECREATION HALL AS INDICATED BY MY INITIAL ON EACH PAGE. AS SPONSOR, I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS OR DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR DURING THE TIME I HAVE USE OF THE BUILDING. I HAVE RECEIVED A COPY OF THIS AGREEMENT. 

  7. Recreation Hall Policy
    1. USAGE FEE AND SECURITY DEPOSIT
      1. Member usage fees as describe in the department Constitution & By-Laws 
        1. $500 security deposit
        2. Non-Member usage 
          1. Per day: $500 usage fee + $500 security deposit (6:00am – 6:00am) 
          2. Full Weekend: $1,000 usage fee + $500 security deposit (6:00am Fri – 6:00am Mon)
        3. Security Deposit MUST be provided to be made payable to "Deer Park Vol Fire Dept" and provided before reservations can be confirmed.
          1. Confirmation email of usage will not be issued until the security deposit is received.
          2. Usage fee must be paid prior to, or at, check-in. 
          3. Usage fee and security deposit MUST be on two separate checks made payable to "Deer Park Vol Fire Dept".
          4. Security deposit will be returned after checkout checklist is complete.
      2. DPVFD Executive Board has the sole authority to withhold up to $100 for user failure to check-in and an additional $150 for the user’s failure to adequately clean up.
      3. The department membership reserves the right to withhold the entire security deposit if required to repair damage occurring during rental and to seek additional relief if damage is significant.
      4. Any individual (past or present) who’s rental or deposit check cannot be deposited and cleared on the first attempt shall be restricted from future rentals or sponsorship for two years.
    2. USAGE RESTRICTIONS 
      1. The Recreation Hall shall not be used for political gatherings 
      2. Members are prohibited from sharing building keys 
      3. No Alcoholic beverage are permitted except those functions by: 
        1. The Department 
        2. Fire Department member as described in the C&BL 
        3. Member’s immediate family as described in the C&BL 
      4. No charge for admission may be required without prior approval of the department membership at business meeting. 
      5. No pets or animals allowed inside 
      6. No activities intended for outdoor shall be allowed inside the building (I.E. throwing balls, chase, or other potentially destructive activities) 
      7. The Rec Hall shall be off limits to uninvited members during a rental 
      8. Use of the department BBQ pits is off limits except during FD functions 
      9. Rec Hall game room shall only be used when a FD member is present 
      10. AV (AudioVisual) closet and equipment is off limits to non-member rental 
      11. Pool table and game room are off limits during non-member rental. 
      12. SMOKING is not allowed inside the building
    3. PROCEDURE 
      1. Non Fire Department Members are welcome to rent the Recreation Hall for gatherings with a fire department member serving as the responsible SPONSOR. 
      2. Check Rec Hall availability on the website - click rentals button 
      3. Submit Request for Rec Hall usage request AND provide the security deposit
        1. Usabe will be blocked for 3 days upon the receipt of the reservation request, allowing time for the security deposit to be delivered to the Executive Board mailbox at Station 3.
        2. Make the security deposit check payable to "Deer Park Vol Fire Dept".
        3. Place the security deposit check in a sealed envelope marked "Rec Hall Deposit" with the user's name and requested date on the outside AND
          1. Place the security deposit envelope in the Executive Board mailbox at Station 3 OR
          2. Give the security deposit envelope to the Fire Dept Administrative personnel at Station 3.
        4. Request for Rec Hall usage must be turned in at least 7 days prior to the requested date. 
        5. The Executive Board will contact the sponsor/ member to confirm the reservation and provide approval.
        6. The sponsor/member shall contact any member of the Executive Board at least 48hrs prior to the event in order to coordinate check-in and check-out. 
        7. Sponsor/member MUST be present for check-in and check-out. 
        8. Sponsor/member is responsible for activities during the rental period. 
        9. Sponsor/member is responsible for providing access to the building and ensuring the building is locked when unattended. Sharing or providing keys to non-members is prohibited by our C&BL. 
        10. User is responsible for cleanup of the building and grounds with the sponsor held accountable by the membership. 
    4. OTHER DETAILS 
      1. The department will provide paper products and soap in the restrooms. 
      2. The portable tables and folding chairs, the kitchen, Refrigerator, Freezer, Sink, Stove and Oven are available for the user’s convenience, however, the department does not warrant or guarantee their availability. 
      3. Dumpster is available immediately behind sta. 2-1/2 for trash disposal. 
      4. User is responsible for providing trash bags 
      5. Dust Mops, Brooms, Dustpan, Mops and Mop Buckets are provided in the chair room for use during cleanup. 
      6. Users are welcome to use the table and chairs, however the department does not guarantee any specific number of available tables or chairs. 
      7. Helium (floating) balloons must be removed during clean up (please keep up with them as they are not easy to wrangle and strings tend to get caught in ceiling fan motors)
